Create a secret.

A Gift of Love

Write a letter to your children to add to their portrait.

Writing a love letter to your children is a beautiful way to express your affection and admiration for them.

When you write a letter to your child to be found at a later time, the discovery is something that will never be forgotten.

When attached to a portrait that was done at the same time as the letter was written and they were a baby or child, it is even more meaningful to understand the depth of feeling that was evident then and is still evident.

Find a quiet place to share your thoughts about your child, penned in your own handwriting, to the special paper and instructions we provide with each portrait.

Remember, a love letter to your children doesn't have to be perfect. What's important is that you express your love and affection for them in a way that feels genuine and heartfelt.

We provide “7 Words” you can include to get you started.

Keep a secret.

Once written, fold your love letter and insert into the provided pouch attached to the back of your framed portrait.

And now comes the hard part. Don’t tell anyone it is back there until the time or event that you determined all those years ago.

It will now become “The Longest Kept Secret.”

Share a secret.

Finally, the big day has arrived. It’s time to unveil the secret you created all those years ago when your son or daughter were just a child and you wrote the secret letter.

Will it be on the day of their wedding? Or maybe the birth of their first child?

Whenever it is, rest assured it will be momentous, adding a deep and sweet dimension to their portrait.
